Wiesbaden

Today, I slept… A lot! Until 1:30 in the afternoon! Considering I went to bed at 9:30 the night before, I had 14 hours of sleep, and for some reason, I was still tired! I was awake for 27 hours straight, so it maybe it shouldn’t be so shocking. After I had a nice breakfast consisting of bread coated in Nutella and strawberry jam, Mother and Daughter Pfingsten took me to Wiesbaden where Oliver and Caroline go to school. Since it was going to be the capital for the US Military during WWII, it was untouched by the war and still has its older buildings intact including the Lutheran church. Although the church isn’t as old or as fancy as the Catholic Cathedral, it was still fascinating! We walked around and saw the theater as well as the foot market. Afterward, we ate at a Mexican restaurant, because Carol was leaving for Kansas tomorrow morning. It is her favorite restaurant, and I had my first Mango Daiquiri there (can I say YUM!). Now we are home and sitting around the living room with Oliver’s family drinking a Latte and Jagermeister! Enjoy the photos while you wait for the next post! Gute nacht!ImageImageImageImageImage,ImageImage
